The irresistible etno-jazz-musette of the French quartet turns into a genuine invitation to dance. The Impérial Orphéon celebrates the Francophonie with a range of saxophones, an adventurous drumming and a fiery accordion playing combined with opera singing.

The Impérial Orphéon is the meeting of 4 multi-instrumentalists whose thirst for originality serves as an incentive for their brilliant interplay and bursting energy on stage. Damien Sabatier and Gérald Chevillon celebrate with a range of saxophones, enriched with electronics effects and even a theremin. On drums, Antonin Rayon is open to all adventures. To complete the band, these three escapees from the Impérial Quartet have invited Remy Poulakis, a fiery accordionist and virtuoso classical singer.

A concert of the Impérial Orphéon offers a journey from jazz to ethno and popular music: Brazilian choros, bewildering Bulgarian themes, entrancing rhythms of Gnawa ; all that topped off in the song style of Rossini. It becomes a genuine invitation to dance!

For their tour in the Baltics as part of the Francophonie they include songs in French, “valses musettes”, French opera songs, French ever greens. A feast not to be missed!
