French bassist Hubert Dupont presents his Jasmim project in a trio version ; the meeting of a visionary jazz musician and two masters of modern Arabic music: the flutist virtuoso Naïssam Jalal and magician of percussion Youssef Hbeisch.

Ahmad Al Khatib was born in Jordania into a family of Palestinian refugees. He began to learn the oud from an early age, taking lessons with the Palestinian master Ahmad Abdel Qasem, and went on to study music and cello at Yarmouk University in Jordania.
He has played with Youssef Hbeisch for many years as “Duo Sabil”. In 2013, Ahmad and Youssef invited Hubert for a great show at the Arabic World Institute in Paris. A trio was born.
