One of the most exciting combos from the dynamic Finnish jazz scene will tour France from November 19th to 24th.

Everybody happy? The question is asked by DDJ, a non conventional band based in Paris, exploring the edges of jazz and rock, with freedom and imagination. A meeting point for urban sound poetry. A joyful experiment which shakes our minds and bodies.

Gourmet is going to make its debut outside the European soil on September 15th 2013 when it’ll perform at the Jazz au Chellah festival in Rabat, Morocco together with Bnet Houariyat Quintet.

MIR is an acronym for Monniot, Ithursarry and Roy ; a word which in Russian language means “World” as well as “Peace”. In communion with these trio partners, the French saxophonist Christophe Monniot sounds more lyrical than ever and he continues to develop the potential of his lush artistry.
